Run EEG studies where your participants live.

Lab EEG gives you clean data from a handful of visits. NeuroJournal gives you weeks of recordings from participants at home, time-locked to daily life, with the raw signal and the processed scores delivered in the formats your analysis already uses.

How a remote study works

01 · Recording

Participants record at home with a consumer-grade headset

A short, guided EEG check-up in the NeuroJournal app. Muse is fully integrated, the platform is hardware agnostic, and the app runs the connection checks so participants do not have to.

02 · Time-locking

Phone taps provide the stimuli, so participants do nothing extra

Every tap and scroll is time-locked to the EEG in the background. That turns ordinary phone use into thousands of events per session, and you can log your own tasks and events alongside.

03 · Processing

Scores that are comparable across participants and weeks

Noise checks, artifact handling and multimodal analysis run on every session. Attention and cognitive load are in production, drowsiness is in validation, and every recording also gives you the underlying brain rhythms, event-related potentials and ERD/ERS.

04 · Outputs

Raw EEG, session data and scores in open formats

Follow the cohort in the research dashboard, export EDF and CSV, work with a BIDS-compatible structure, or pull scores through the API. Your analysis stays in your own tools.

Research use only

NeuroJournal is not CE marked and supports no diagnostic or treatment claims. It is sold to research teams and healthy users for research and wellness purposes.

GDPR first

Data protection is designed into the product. Your organisation retains ownership of its data, and participants can be pseudonymised at the source.

Hardware agnostic

Axite makes software. Muse is integrated today and further consumer-grade headsets are on the roadmap, so a study is never tied to one manufacturer.
